Assignment Instructions/ Description
This assignment helps the student work through project closure. Through the closing process, the project manager secures the acceptance of the project’s final products or services from the stakeholders and customer. A completion document is created that verifies the milestones while reflecting on what the project team learned while working on this project; the lessons learned help us improve future projects.

This assignment enables the student to meet the following Course Outcome CO:
CO 1: Apply evidence-based leadership skills and concepts in the execution and evaluation of an executive-level practice change project. (PO 4,5)
Due Date: Sunday, 11:59 p.m. MT at the end of Week 6Students are given the opportunity to request an extension on assignments for emergent situations. Supporting documentation must be submitted to the assigned faculty. If the student’s request is not approved, the assignment is graded and a late penalty is applied as follows:
- Monday = 10% of total possible point reduction
- Tuesday = 20% of total possible point reduction
- Wednesday = 30% of total possible point reduction
If the student’s request is approved, the student will be informed of the revised due date. Should the student fail to meet the revised due date, the assignment is graded and a late penalty is applied as follows:
- Monday = 10% of total possible point reduction
- Tuesday = 20% of total possible point reduction
- Wednesday = 30% of total possible point reduction
- For your scholarly/narrative section write a 1-2 page paper addressing the following scenario: You are told that you are being moved from your current project to a new assignment and you have one week to transfer your work to a new PM.
- What will be important to do in this final week to pass your project onto a new PM or team?
- What qualities would you look for in a new PM for your project?
- What have you built into your project to ensure that the project will achieve the practice change you proposed?
- Although this is a theoretical scenario, it is expected that your writing is evidence-based as demonstrated by inclusion of scholarly sources to support your thoughts.
- Attach your completed lessons learned and project completion templates to your scholarly section as appendices.
- Complete the completion document and lessons learned form.
- Grammar, spelling, punctuation, references, and citations are consistent with formal academic writing and APA format as expressed in the most current APA edition.
- Verify your project’s milestones, and finish the completion document and lessons learned form.
- Ideas and information from professional sources must be cited correctly using the most current APA edition.
